John Sitzia
John Sitzia is the RDN Executive Director at the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) Coordinating Centre.
John joined the NIHR in 2006 as part of the team leading the development and introduction of the national NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN). He has since worked in a number of NIHR executive director roles. John is responsible for overall operational management of the CRN/RDN as a whole, and for RDN Coordinating Centre general management and delivery.
Before joining RDN, John worked for 15 years in NHS Research & Development, initially as a clinical researcher in cancer care and lymphoedema in a Nursing Development Unit, and then as an NHS research manager and director.
