Dr Martin Ashton-Key
Dr Martin Ashton-Key is Director and Clinical Advisor at the NIHR Coordinating Centre.
He specialises in providing clinical and scientific advice and support.
Before joining NIHR in 2011, he held public health medicine consultant posts in health services commissioning at local, regional and national levels. He has a background in clinical medicine, practiced as a GP, and trained at Southampton University Medical School.
