Summary

Team science is an annual initiative designed to enable researchers to form new inter-disciplinary collaborations and facilitate research in areas of need. Individuals can apply for a place at Team Science Camp where they where they will be organised into inter-disciplinary teams and coached in the principles of Team Science. These teams are then able to apply for a Team Science Award. Please note that both teams formed at the camp and outside the NIHR Team Science Camp are eligible to apply for the Team Science Award.

The NIHR Team Science award is a training and development award that can be used for pilot research, access to data, building collaborations and partnerships, team training and development including events and conferences, build research capacity and to develop and train inter-disciplinary teams to submit future successful applications to other research programmes.
